About the Kern River Valley Art Association
The Kern River Valley Art Association is a private non-profit public benefit organization dedicated to supporting artists
and
craft people in our community. We strive to bring art to our community, supporting art, music, drama, dance, and literature.
We have an active mural program and murals are painted throughout the Kern River Valley.
This is a beginning of public art
in our valley and it enhances our community.
This web site serves as a vehicle for artist to show their work for sale to the public. Look for the featured artist every month.
You will see a different artist each month. Their work is for sale and they would appreciate your business. Shop local and
support our local artists and crafters.
The KRVAA is made up of talented artists and craft persons dedicated to their arts and crafts. The KRVAA is in its 51st
year and
we are celebrating. We have a long history of service to our community. The Kern River Valley is located in the
Southern Sierra Nevada Mountains. It is a four season resort community and the 7,000' peaks that surround the valley
are a
constant inspiration to our community. We have conducted the Sierra Arts and Crafts Festival for now 48 years on
Memorial
Day and Labor Day. We conduct workshops occasionally and sign up to be notified.
